Amphoria™ Insert Systems are designed for makers who demand exceptional performance without compromising aesthetics.
Standard Amphoria™ Insert Systems are optimized for dry, properly seasoned wood. As with all precision threaded closure systems—including brass, aluminum, polymer inserts, and even hand-cut wooden threads—natural wood movement in green or partially dried wood can affect fit and performance.
Our Wood Movement Resistant™ Insert Systems are specifically engineered for applications where limited wood movement may still occur, such as green or semi-dry wood. These designs feature a 3 mm female flange and proprietary design enhancements that better accommodate seasonal movement, making them especially well suited for end-grain turned projects.
Each insert is precision-engineered from a high-quality wood infused polymer, containing 15–30% real white (pine) wood fibers. This composition delivers the natural look and tactile feel of wood while providing an excellent balance of strength, durability, dimensional stability, and lightweight performance for years of dependable service.
Quick-Lock™ (Bayonet Style) Insert Systems are designed to drop in, rotate, and lock. Installation is fast, intuitive, and secure—making them an excellent choice for projects where quick access and dependable retention are equally important.
Available in sizes ranging from 1" (25.4 mm) to 5" (127.0 mm), Quick-Lock™ Insert Systems are engineered to provide consistent fit, smooth operation, and reliable performance across a wide variety of woodworking and fabrication applications.
