Amphoria™ Mason-Jar Lid Inserts are designed for woodturners who want to combine the beauty of a handcrafted wooden lid with the convenience of Mason-jar compatibility.
Each insert is precision manufactured from a premium Wood Fiber Reinforced Polymer containing approximately 15–30% genuine wood fibers, combining the warmth and natural character of real wood with the smooth thread engagement, excellent dimensional stability, and lasting performance of an engineered polymer.
Designed around BALL® Mason jars, these lid inserts accommodate the 48 mm Mini, 70 mm Standard-Mouth, and 86 mm Wide-Mouth jar formats. They are also intended to fit other standard Mason jars using the corresponding size and thread profile.
Installed in your turned wooden lid, the insert provides the threaded connection that allows your finished lid to screw directly onto the corresponding Mason jar, transforming a familiar glass container into a distinctive handcrafted piece.
Each lid insert includes a matching, replaceable O-ring to maintain an airtight seal when the lid is properly tightened. The replaceable design allows you to renew the seal as needed.

Selecting Your Size: The 48 mm, 70 mm, and 86 mm designations identify the compatible Mason-jar lid format—not the installation recess diameter. Please refer to the product dimensions and technical drawings to determine the installation recess required for your selected insert.

The genuine wood fibers may also contribute subtle variations in color and texture, adding to each insert’s natural character.
Designed for general woodworking applications using properly dried wood, Mason-Jar Lid Inserts provide precise fitment and consistent, dependable operation.
